This support tree gives you a general idea of what to expect from 1-1 services:
Services begin by meeting with a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to discuss your goals for service and any behaviours you want to target. Next the BCBA will collect necessary information and data through assessment, and a custom ABA-based intervention plan will be designed for your child. A plan and schedule of implementation will be developed, a behaviour intervention plan will be signed, and then intervention will begin. Throughout the ABA intervention data will be collected, reviewed, and analyzed to ensure that the intervention is successful. You will have regularly scheduled meetings with your BCBA to communicate all progress and discuss any necessary changes to the program. The passionate and experienced BCBAs at Spectrum Solutions feel strongly that communication is a key to effective behaviour intervention, and maintain regular dialogue with parents and caregivers throughout the therapeutic process.
